From a scientific perspective we already know much about the immune system, even in a high measure of detail. However, still there are fundamental questions we are not able to answer. How does the immune system functions in the brain and are we capable of influencing it and, if yes, how? What causes blood poisoning and what is the reason of being able to cure one and not the other? What causes auto-immune responses? Etc.
It is our vision that a complex subject matter such as the immune system is more likely to be understood when approached from different perspectives. And that a broader view might inspire to find solutions to fundamental questions about immunology. That’s why Immunowell is keen to involve people from within different areas of expertise.
- Immunologists, experts, who like getting inspired by different perspectives and other scientific areas of expertise.
- Scientists from within other areas of expertise and medical specialisms, who like to contribute to answering scientific questions relating to the immune system;
- Patients (‘experiental experts’) who like brainstorming. reasoning and philosophising with scientific experts based on their personal experience.
- People with specialist knowledge about holistic treatment who like to contribute to answering scientific questions relating to the immune system.
